Rooster Teeth Animation has released a trailer for the second half of RWBY Volume 8, which is set to arrive on February 6.
With RWBY Volume 8 set to return from its mid-season hiatus on February 6, Rooster Teeth has released a new trailer teasing the trials and tribulations ahead for Team RWBY and their allies.
The trailer picks up on things as Salem’s assault on the divided kingdom of Atlas continues. Salem’s voice is heard throughout the trailer, as she assures Cinder that somehow she will soon have the power of Winter Maiden – and things don’t go right. for Penny. Meanwhile, our heroes seem to be struggling to fight off Salem’s forces as the situation in Atlas continues to escalate.
Tension peaks when Salem declares “you are too late”, appearing to have captured Oscar and, by extension, Ozpin. The camera then switches to a distressed Ruby Rose as the trailer ends.
“The clash between Salem and Ironwood’s forces has begun,” an official synopsis read in the description of the video. “With our heroes caught in the middle and impossible choices in all directions, will they figure out how to save the kingdom of Atlas … or is the war for Remnant already lost?”
Rooster teeth animation RWBY stars Lindsay Jones as Ruby Rose, Kara Eberle as Weiss Schnee, Arryn Zech as Blake Belladonna and Barbara Dunkelman as Yang Xiao Long. The show returns for the back half of Volume 8 on February 6 on Rooster Teeth FIRST.
