Popular Nigerian singer Naira Marley has reacted to the viral video of some schoolchildren being arrested by Amotekun agents.
According to reports, the students were arrested for posing as “Marliens”.
In the video, which went viral on social media, a lady who is said to be a school teacher described the boys as criminals.
The teacher labeled the group leader as “Naira Marley” and a bad influence on the other children.
She said they got caught in a bush but did not report their wrongdoing.
The video caught the attention of Naira Marley who strongly condemned the arrest of the students, calling it “child abuse”.
He wrote; “Guys are watching what’s going on in stupid Nigeria. How to stop school children? It is child abuse. The teachers and those stupid armed uncles must be stopped.
The leader “Marlien” demanded the address of the school by expressing his desire to meet the students.
“I want to meet all these kids, I owe them, please help me with the school name or connect me with one of my Marlian Kids. I want to see the witch behind the camera. What is the self amotekun? If they treat your child like that, what would you do? Did you see the slap? Do you call someone a child criminal? Omoo I’m so angry, give me the name of the school I need to go.
