Soldiers have left the home of Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine.
On Monday, a Ugandan court ordered the army and police to leave his home.
But, as we reported in a previous article, the soldiers did not leave his house immediately after the court ruling.
He had not left his home on the outskirts of the capital Kampala since voting in the presidential election earlier this month, in which he was declared vice president of President Yoweri Museveni.
Bobi Wine has now left his home to speak to the media, the Uganda Daily Monitor reports:
UPDATE: Former presidential candidate @HEBobiwine, spoke to the media today, for the first time since January 14, 2021 when his home was under security. The court yesterday ordered security to vacate the scene.#MonitorUpdates
