The iconic conversation hearts we all know and love have new things to say for Valentine’s Day 2021 and those words may sound familiar.
Spangler Candy Company said today that “Sweethearts Candies is back for Valentine’s Day 2021 with new sayings inspired by the most famous love songs from each generation alongside familiar sayings like ‘Be mine’, ‘Hug me “and” Cutie Pie “.
New 21 song posts include “Finally”, “Sugar Sugar”, “I’m yours”, “Igotu babe” and “Luvme Tndr”.
“There have been hundreds of sayings about Sweethearts Candies over the years, but after a year like no other, we knew we wanted to add a positive note to the season,” said Diana Eschhofen, Director of Communications at Spangler Candy business.
“Opening or redeeming a box of Sweethearts only encourages connection in a way that evokes feelings of joy, happiness, and longing. With that in mind, we came up with the idea of creating sayings based on our favorite heart-themed songs over the decades, because what better way to make someone smile than to be reminded of a melody.
Conversation Hearts can be purchased in individual boxes or in packs of five units. Flavors include wintergreen, orange, lemon, blue raspberry, banana, grape and cherry.
You may remember that some conversation hearts had nothing to say last year.
In 2018, Sweethearts Candies was acquired by Spangler Candy. The company did not have time to speed up production for 2019 but was then able to put them back on store shelves in 2020 “after a major effort to move the equipment, find the original recipe and bring back the colors, the classic texture and taste of Sweethearts Candies to generations of fans. “
