Zimbabwe’s Foreign Minister Sibusiso Moyo is among three senior government officials buried in Heroes Acre in the capital, Harare, after succumbing to Covid-19.
The others are Transport Minister Joel Biggie Matiza and Prison Chief Paradzai Willings Zimondi.
The country has seen an increase in Covid-19 cases since the holiday season.
The Ministry of Information tweeted photos of the ceremony:

More than 32,000 Zimbabweans have been infected with the coronavirus since the start of the epidemic and more than 1,100 have died.
