Ghanaians reacted in many ways after Abigial Rawlings came out to claim that the late President Rawlings was his father.

The question has been in fashion since Monday, January 25, 2021.

In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, Abigail Rawlings spoke passionately about being the child of the former President of Ghana.

According to her, her mother is a Togolese woman who died but who told her before her death that Rawlings was her father.

Abigail added that many maternal relatives of former President Rawlings in their hometown know her and have accepted her into the family.

She was prevented by security personnel at the burial site from viewing the remains of the late president.

Abigail was not moving while pushing back security personnel in a video posted by YEN.com.gh.

Meanwhile, a photo of the late president and his late mother, Ms Victoria Agbotui, has led Ghanaians to conclude that Abigail looks like him.

They say Abigail and Agbotui are alike because they have the same facial features.

Furthermore, President Akufo-Addo announced at the funeral that the University of Development Studies (UDS) has been renamed after Rawlings and will be known as JJ Rawlings University of Development Studies.
