Martin Odegaard already had an Arsenal teammate in training (Video)

Real Madrid player Martin Odegaard will bring a different level of class to Arsenal midfielder for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season, and he showed his high level of technical quality and randomness in a training session.

With a hat tip to Metro, Odegaard provided a nutmeg assist for former Bundesliga player Reiss Nelson in training, passing the ball through the legs of young attacking midfielder Joe Willock.

While the Whites are disappointed with the way Odegaard’s half-season at Madrid has unfolded under Zinedine Zidane, they are even more optimistic the Norwegian will return to the solid form he has shown in the 2019 season. -2020 under Imanol Alguacil at Real Sociedad. And he can find his highest level at Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta surely has big plans for Odegaard, who chose the Gunners over La Real’s interest. The latter team had already filled Odegaard’s shoes with La Liga veteran – and former Premier League legend – David Silva.

Odegaard is one of the most creative young midfielders in the world, and with Mesut Ozil completely moved on to the next chapter in his illustrious career, Arsenal have a bottom-up player the coach can believe in. At 22, the sky is the limit for Odegaard, and if the adjustment in north London is good enough, he can either pique Real Madrid’s interest in a real role in 2021-2022 or win another season in Premier League.
