Lawyer Dennis Adjei Dwomoh, managing partner of Law Plus (Avocats), condemned the practice of the parties’ legal teams in the petition, urging them to allow the country’s supreme court to work.
“We should allow the court to work and even if the practitioners comment on the matter, I think it shouldn’t be immediately after they leave the court because when they leave the court immediately, the adrenaline is high and sometimes these statements. are made. So I hope that the court will warn the two parties as to the expressions they made.
He added, “If you watch the news, most of the reporting sometimes takes on the tone of the comment that was made by the two practitioners. Looking back at 2013, you realize that most of the comments turned friendlier after the court bared its teeth on the contempt issues. So I hope that our colleagues after the court will not comment on the same and if they do, they should hold back.
