Liverpool fans who need reassurance that Ozan Kabak can move from Bundesliga wrestlers Schalke to Premier League champions can look to another Champions League team.

“He was one of Schalke’s best players after the resumption, but you wouldn’t have thought he would pull trees when he went to Italy.
“I made a pleasant comment at the time that he wasn’t good enough for Southampton, let alone Juventus!
“I joked that he was not a quality midfielder that Juventus would normally sign – he was a utility player – but he has turned out to be one of their best players this season.
“I think you might see something similar happen with Kabak – probably as a natural progression from a struggling team to a title fighting team.
“He should be able to shine and it shouldn’t take too long to get up.”
McKennie has scored three times since midfielder for Juventus in Serie A and assisted two more as he was crucial in helping the Italian giants win 3-0 away at Barcelona in December where he was scored a superb volley.
