Starr News sources say the infected students and teachers have been quarantined at a hotel in Akosombo for the handling of their cases.
Eastern Regional Health Director Dr Winfred Ofosu confirmed the situation but did not reveal the name of the school, adding that the regional health directorate has yet to receive a detailed report. of Asuogyaman District Health Directorate.
Ghana’s death toll from COVID-19 has now reached 433, according to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service.
A total of 777 new cases of COVID-19 have also been recorded, bringing the number of active cases to 5,786.
497 people also recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 62,340.
