The Ghana Education Service (GES) has advised the general public to seek information about the Service through its official social media and online web platforms.

A statement issued and signed by the head of the GES public relations unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo on February 4, 2021, while announcing the department’s preparations for the exit from the high school internship for the 2020/21 academic year , stated: “Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) would like to announce that preparations are underway for the release of the high school placement for the 2020/21 academic year.

“Management also advises the general public to beware of fake news portals and instead follow the official GES pseudonyms on social networks Facebook (ges.gov.gh), Twitter (@gheduservice), Instagram (@gheduservice) and the website (ges.gov. gh) for credible information ”.

The GES further assured parents, guardians, applicants and the general public of its commitment to “ensure a smooth and merit-based SHS placement process in accordance with established guidelines”.
