Marvel Cinematic Universe star Tom Holland recently teased the breadth of action sequences in the upcoming Uncharted movie in an interview.
Tom Holland is coming Unexplored The film will not only feature the explosive settings of the video game franchise, but they could even outshine the action scenes he played as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
During an interview on Variety’s Rewards circuit podcast, Holland spoke about the long history of development surrounding Unexplored and what to expect from her young Nathan Drake on the big screen. In addition to saluting the chemistry of co-star Mark Wahlberg as Victor “Sully” Sullivan, the cherry The actor described the stunts he performed for the film as part of “the greatest action sequences I’ve ever done.” Without spoiling what those sequences were or where they took place, Holland hinted, “The cuts and bruises and bumps I got from swinging on wires and dropping things were ridiculous.

Although Sony recently delayed the film again, Unexplored has already posted a number of photos on social media teasing the film’s globe-trotting adventure story. Production on the film ended in October, with Wahlberg sharing an image of Sully’s signature Havana shirt to mark the occasion.
The Unexplored The film adaptation has been in development since 2008, a year after the original Uncharted: Fortune of the Drakes released for PlayStation 3 and critically acclaimed. After production of the film’s initial story suffered delays and led to the departure of then-director David O. Russell, it was rewritten as a prequel starring Holland as treasure hunter Nathan. Drake, with Wahlberg recast from an older Drake to Sully. Meanwhile, developer Naughty Dog continued his game with the sequels Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, as well as the PlayStation Vita prequel Unexplored: Golden Abyss and the PlayStation 4 spin-off Uncharted: The Lost Heritage, turning Unexplored into a franchise exclusive to Sony.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Unexplored stars Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg alongside Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on February 11, 2022.
