Attempts by Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez to hurt Neymar went badly as he ended up injuring himself.
But the third round between the pair didn’t last too long at the end. Neymar was a second-half substitute in the game and seconds after entering the fray he sent the Spaniard back to Espanyol by destroying him on the left wing.
In response, Gonzalez then attempted to kick Neymar but failed and the run continued towards the goal. Gonzalez then stood on Neymar’s foot in the box and was very lucky not to give a penalty.
However, he suffered a serious injury while making the tackle and ended up having to be substituted. Karma, or poetic justice, if you were.

Former West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet was sent off for Marseille after horribly mis-timing a tackle on Marco Verratti late.
When they met at the Trophee des Champions last month, Neymar scored the decisive goal on the spot and made fun of Alvaro on social media.
Having the last word, Neymar wrote: “And you are in my shadow. You made famous … you are welcome.”
