Buem MP Kofi Adams expressed shock at the response of Minister-designate Kwaku Agyeman-Manu to a question he was asked during his consideration by the Parliamentary Appointments Committee on this he said in a radio interview to Dormaa in 2020.

“The translation of what I said is wrong; 100% false. I gave this warning at a reception in my riding, Dormaa Ahenkro, and spoke to Bono, so whoever did the translation was totally wrong and that’s not what I wanted say.

“I was trying to tell people that they should have sympathy for those of us who are leading the battle and listen to the warnings that we put in the public domain. I didn’t say it on the radio and maybe let us fix that too, ”he said during his review.

But Kofi Adams disagrees.

Speaking on GhOne TV’s Ghana Today and monitored by GhanaWeb, Kofi insisted that what his fellow MP said was what it meant and that for him even trying to pin him down on the journalist who had it. reported, is not admissible.

“I know the band and I listened even though the audience didn’t have the chance, but I had the opportunity to listen to this audio recording and it is different from what the contestant said that that was what he had said.

“So I was surprised that he accused the journalist rather because what was said exactly that he was talking about being tired, the president is tired, that’s what he said and so he didn’t cannot claim that he was advising them and not that he said they were tired.

“If he talks about context, he should say that he was taken out of context and not say that he was misreported,” he said.

Kwaku Agyemang-Manu appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee and was grumbled for about five hours over a plethora of issues related to his sector and his reappointment as Minister of Health by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo .
