Pastor Isaac Kwofie, resident pastor of Action Chapel International (ACI) in Cape Coast urged everyone to let the love of God guide them, but in all their efforts as they celebrate Valentine’s Day.
This, he said, was because the love of God directs man’s path to righteousness and honor.
Valentine’s Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship, and admiration usually with the color red every year on February 14.
People celebrate this day by sending messages of love and affection to their partners, family and friends with cards, SMS, chocolates and flowers and have a special time together to honor their love one. for the other.
However, some young people used the day to slip up because the world had adopted a misconception that Valentine was the time to become sexually intimate with partners, noted Pastor Kwofie.
He warned that Valentine was not for fornication or committing adultery, or for engaging in ungodly acts, but for appreciating bond, love, sacrifice, and the existence of loved ones.
He further urged all to use what the day brings to strengthen loose bonds with God, their families, friends, spouses, loved ones and all to rekindle dead relationships.
