A Nigerian with the Twitter handle @retsonbiz did the rare thing by having his car engine serve as a microwave for his food.

In a Sunday February 14 post, the man said he solved the problem of not having a microwave to heat his meal when he left Warri.

He added that the vehicle was packed along the Warri-Benin highway as it converted the heat from the car to perform another function.

In photos shared by the man, he could be seen posing in front of the car with its hood open. Two plastic plates of food were placed on the engine.

Many Nigerians responded to his tweet as some wondered how safe he was to place plastic plates on a hot car engine.
