Legal expert Fatimatu Abubakar warned Ghanaians against failing to comply with COVID-19 security protocols.

As the nation grapples with the pandemic disease, it is increasingly important for every citizen to adhere to health instructions to avoid becoming infected and infecting others with the deadly disease.

COVID-19 has killed 568 people in Ghana and infected more than 70,000 people across the country.

Due to the rapid rise in the disease, there have been relentless calls for Ghanaians to comply with protocols but some people have decided to throw caution to the wind.

Talk on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo,” lawyer Fati advised recalcitrant Ghanaians not to play with the disease by stressing that there is no sense in dying when it is enough to follow the protocols.

She called on citizens to protect their lives against disease.

“We implore you that anyone who tells you to follow COVID security protocols will love you and protect your life. When you are told not to have funerals or birthday parties, don’t. There will be another one. year when there will be no COVID and where you can throw as many parties as you want, but if you are looking for the joy of today and forget about the many years that lie ahead and get sick, I want you say it’s not worth it. “ she pleaded.
