The Concerned Clergy Association of Ghana has said that the European Union’s support in Ghana for the LGBTQI community in Ghana is an evil attempt to legalize a practice that threatens young people and the country’s family system, adding that it is promoting difficulty. under the pretext of protecting their human rights.

In a declaration signed by the president of the association, Benny Wood, the opening of an office for the LGBTQI community with the active support of the European Union and the commitment of the Union continues to support the activities of the community is a violation of the laws of the land and should not be tolerated.

“The EU has no right to interfere or try to change our laws and encourage a practice upon us that goes against our existence as a people. Homosexuality and issues regarding the LGBTQI community in Ghana are always a hit, especially among Christians and Muslims who don’t mince their words in condemning those seen as supporting them.
