Princess Eugenie will admire her own upbringing as she enters the world of parenthood with husband Jack Brooksbank, according to parenting expert and blogger Sophie Pickles. She told Express.co.uk: “We often think of our own childhood when raising our children, often modeling certain techniques on how we were brought up (or in some cases, promising parents the opposite way) .
“Eugenie’s traditional royal education is bound to have an impact on how she chooses to be a parent and she will value and encourage good manners, academic achievement and determination.”
However, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter will likely mix her own royal background and upbringing with today’s parenting skills.
Ms Pickes added: “Just as Eugenie made her own path in life, I’m sure she will want to break away from some of the more old-fashioned royal parenting techniques and traditions as well.”
Princess Eugenie has shown that she was in touch with the modern world with the announcement of her pregnancy.
This, the parenting expert said, indicates that young York can access information on modern parenting techniques.
She said: “Eugenie comes into contact with modern life in a way that has been inaccessible to members of the royal family in the past.
“She regularly updates her Instagram with happy photos of herself and her husband and made a delicious pregnancy announcement to hundreds of thousands of happy fans in September.

“This will undoubtedly mean that Eugenie is able to access the wealth of modern parenting information available on the web and will have thousands of experts ready and willing to offer their support and advice.”
Princess Eugenie and Jack mixed tradition and modernity when they announced that they were expecting their firstborn at the end of September.
The beloved couple took to Eugenie’s Instagram account to share a photo of themselves smiling and another snap showing the couple holding adorable teddy bear baby booties.

These photographs were accompanied by a teasing caption featuring the emoji of a newborn baby and the words: “Jack and I are so excited for the start of 2021 …”
But the couple also followed royal tradition, with Buckingham Palace issuing a more formal statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are very happy to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021.
“The Duke of York and Sarah, The Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank, the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
Likewise, following the birth of their baby boy, Eugenie and Jack mixed tradition and modernity by letting Buckingham Palace share the news first and then add a cute photo of their newborn baby on Instagram.
The palace message read: ‘The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, The Duchess of York and Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news.
“This is the first child of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, the Duke of York and Sarah, the first grandchild of the Duchess of York and the ninth great-grandchild of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh .
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
In the photo posted on Instagram, we can see Eugenie and Jack’s hands holding the fingers and hand of their little newborn baby.
Confirming that the last royal baby was a boy, Eugenie only added a few blue heart emojis to the caption.
Princess Eugenie gave birth to a baby boy weighing 8 lb 1 oz at Portland Hospital in London, where she was also born.
The couple have yet to announce Baby Brooksbank’s name.
