Highlights

  • Elimination Chamber 2021 takes place on February 22
  • Drew McIntyre to defend his WWE Championship against 5 Superstars inside the elimination chamber
  • Roman Reigns will also defend his title against the winner of the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match

Elimination Chamber, WWE’s second pay-per-view event in 2021, takes place at WWE Thunderdome tomorrow (February 22). The event consists of 6 matches in total. Male Superstars from Raw and Smackdown will face off in their respective Elimination Chamber matches at the event.

Raw women’s champion Asuka will defend her title while Bobby Lashley’s US Championship is also on the line. A day before the event, here’s a look at the likely predictions for Elimination Chamber matches –

Kevin Owens vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Jey Uso vs. Cesaro vs. King Corbin vs. Sami Zayn: The Smackdown superstars will face off in a Six-Party Elimination Chamber match to win the Universal Championship opportunity against Roman Reigns later in the series. Since the champion is a heel, another heel superstar is unlikely to challenge him later in the day.

Therefore, Owens, Bryan and Cesaro are the favorites. Owens has already had 2 opportunities while Cesaro and Bryan have yet to challenge the champion. Bryan enters the elimination chamber as a favorite.

Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus vs. Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston: Unlike the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match, the winner of this match will go straight to the championship and the stakes are high for the Raw Superstars. All 5 challengers are former champions and unsurprisingly none of them are favorites to dethrone current champion Drew McIntyre from the top.

Sheamus, who will enter the match in last place, should have a chance to enter Wrestlemania but for now it looks like McIntyre will retain the championship.

Bobby Lashley vs. Riddle vs. Keith Lee: Lashey will defend his championship against Riddle and Keith Lee. Keith is the favorite to capture his first championship on the main roster and is expected to pin Lashley for the title. A match between him and Lashley might be a must-see at Wrestlemania 37.

Asuka vs. Lacey Evans: Evans’ latest announcement will keep her away from the TV for a while, making Asuka the favorite to retain her title.

Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks: With an eye on the tag team titles, Belair, the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble winner, will team up with Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. Since Belair is likely to challenge Banks for the title at Wrestlemania 37, chances are they will lose at Elimination Chamber.
