Robin wright has already made a pretty big impression behind the lens thanks to his work on Card castle, but she recently took another big step as a director – making her directorial debut with the film Earth. With the film slated for release on PVOD on March 5, Wright took the time to join us for an episode of Collider Ladies Night to celebrate this achievement and as much of his filmography as we could cover in 30 minutes.

We will have the full conversation for you closer to EarthThe debut of PVOD, but while you wait, how about a clip regarding one of the hottest releases to come? Justice League by Zack Snyder. Three years later Justice League In theaters, Snyder’s interpretation of the film will finally be available on HBO Max. There are a lot of things that I am very curious to see in this cut of the film; How? ‘Or’ What Jared letoThe Joker is incorporated, the Darkseid of everything, Superman’s laser eyes and more. But really, what fascinates me the most is the fact that we have two different take on a big budget franchise movie. When does this happen?

Given that now Wright is embarking on feature film making herself as a director, I chose to ask her what she thinks the value is in getting another version of a film already released in rooms. Here is what she said:

“I don’t know enough about this situation. I’ve never seen Justice League. I don’t even know if we were cut off from it. What I think I know, maybe the news is incorrect, but I think the film because the director had a tragedy in his personal life, which we know, right? And basically I think they took the movie away from him. I could be wrong. And I must say, with the little that I know, if this is the vision of this director again and if it is the story that has been signed, and he is finally able to make it happen, to give it power. .

Considering what was revealed in the Vanity Fair article earlier today, Wright appears to be right with this preview. here’s how Anthony Breznican put it in the song:

“The death of their daughter was the reason the Snyders left Justice League, realizing that their fight and their spirit was needed at home, with their other children and with each other, rather than in a losing battle with a powerful studio. Now she is the main reason he decided to come back.

On March 18, we can finally see Snyder’s Justice League, which Snyder says will end with a title card for his daughter, “For Fall.”
