North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said he was ready to take the COVID-19 vaccine publicly in turn.

He urges Ghanaians and their families to obtain the vaccine when it arrives in the country.

According to him, Ghanaians must ignore vaccine conspiracy theories and trust the country’s scientists to do more for the country.

“As an MP for North Tongu, I am absolutely ready for the COVID-19 vaccine in turn. I can’t wait to publicly receive the jab. ”

“I urge all my constituents and fellow countrymen to do the same.

“Let us all do our best to boldly face the reluctance to immunize. It’s time to build more trust in our scientists and ignore conspiracy theorists.

Ghana is expected to take delivery of its first batch of COVID-19 vaccines later this week.

Ghana has approved the AstraZeneca and Sputnik V vaccines for use in Ghana.

But there has been some skepticism on the part of the population about approved vaccines.
