The Department of Highways and Highways through the Urban Roads Department has announced the closure and rerouting of roads in the Ridge Enclave in Accra to traffic from Saturday February 27, 2021 until further notice.
This is to allow the “movement of underground lines and road construction works”.
He therefore called on road users to take note of the roads that will be closed to traffic.
Routes include: “Jomo Kenyatta Road, Haile Selassie Road (between Jomo Kenyatta Road and Castle Road, Gamal Abdul Nasser Street (between Jomo Kenyatta Road and Castle Road)”.
He urged motorists to follow the “traffic diversion signs that will be placed at viewpoints on different sections of the road”.
She also apologized for “any inconvenience caused”.
