My love, Ganduje’s help in custody – Tanko Yakasai

Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, a former northern statesman and father of Ganduje’s media assistant Salihu Tanko Yakasai, has confirmed that his son (Salihu) is in custody.

However, he did not specify which security guard his son was being held on.

Yakasai, in a telephone interview with Vanguard on Saturday morning, said his son has been detained since Friday, when he went to a barber shop and was on his way home.

According to him, “He is in the custody of security guards and not kidnappers. I don’t know which of the security guards now because there are so many (security).

“He was chosen yesterday (Friday) when he went to cut his hair at the barbing salon on his return. But there is nothing to worry about since he is with the security guards and not with the kidnappers, ”Yakasai said.

Recall that Salihu Tanko Yakasai took his verified Twitter handle @dawisu on Friday morning to tweet in reaction to the latest kidnapping of around 317 boarding students from Jangebe Governmental Girls’ Secondary School, in Talata Mafara local government region of Zamfara State.

In the tweet, he (Salihu) called on President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors to step down or deal decisively with the terrorists and bandits who terrorize the country.

He (Salihu) also said that APC governments at all levels have failed especially in the primary responsibility of protecting the lives of the voters who brought them to power.

Meanwhile, Twitter was inundated on Saturday morning with news of the unknown location of Salihu who he said has been missing since 4 p.m. Friday.
