Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Mustapha Ussif, Minister of Youth and Sports.
Mr. Ussif was sworn in by President Nana Akufo Addo on March 5, 2021.
The chairman of the GOC, who is seeking re-election, said he looks forward to working with the new minister to take Ghana Sports to the next level and also support the organization of the 2023 African Games following his new appointment. within the Development Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA).
Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah urged the heads of federation to give the new Minister of Sports all the support necessary to succeed.
He also congratulated President Nana Akufo-Addo for obtaining vaccines to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in Ghana, which has had negative effects on sport.
He advised all GOC Congress delegates to obey COVID -19 protocols.
