Many speakers lamented the “sad” state of the creative arts sector, and many blamed the current and previous government for paying very little attention to the sector.

President Akufo-Addo said that the first project of the Upper Secondary School of Creative Arts, which is located in Kwadaso in the Ashanti region, is nearing completion.

President Akufo-Addo said the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Tourism Authority of Ghana are working on the realization of the Beyond Return initiative after a “ year of return ” successful in 2019.
“Mr. President, our nation continues to benefit from the ‘Year of Return’. Since then, we have intensified our engagement with Africans in the Diaspora and all people of African descent in a more positive way in areas such as trade and investment cooperation, and skills and knowledge development. , in what we call “Beyond Return,” he said. .
Installation of digital income systems in tourist centers in Ghana
President Akufo-Addo said that digital revenue collection systems have been installed at tourist points of view to adequately monitor revenue collection.
He said the move made the sites more attractive to tourists.
