All 10 teams took to the Bahrain International Circuit on Friday for the first day of pre-season testing, as they began their programs to sort out any issues with their new cars ahead of the first race of the year.
On Friday morning, Sebastian Vettel tested for Aston Martin, Daniel Ricciardo got behind the wheel of the Mercedes-powered McLaren and Mick Schumacher made his debut for Haas – who officially unveiled his VF-21 ahead of the session.

As for Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas was hampered by a gearbox issue that confined him to the garage for much of the session.
Not all of the drivers were tested on day one, with Williams duo George Russell and Nicholas Latifi having to wait as test driver Roy Nissany opened the weekend for them, but they posed for a pre photo -season as the sun was setting on the runway.
