First there was Monster (T-Pain). Then there was Miss Monster (Chaka Khan). Later came Squiggly Monster (Bob saget). And now there is… Grandpa Monster! The orange, elderly, bearded creature is hoping to follow in T-Pain’s footsteps by winning season 5 of “The Masked Singer,” and he’s on the right track as he already has the support of the show’s panelists. “You know you turn it off when your single vision is fogged up,” laughed Nicole scherzinger after seeing Grandpa Monster give it all on stage in his first performance on Wednesday March 17th.

Here’s how Grandpa Monster describes herself in her own words: “Hey, young whippersnappers. Reflecting on my long life, I can’t believe how confused I was as a youngster. Always acting to have all eyes on me until a teacher pulls me out after class and shows me that I was smarter than the character I was playing. So I decided to put the Eye on Einstein and became a star student. I’m still working on shaking my bad reputation, so when this old monster takes off his mask, I hope you’re not afraid of who I was a long time ago.
Nicole added about her routine: “It was so much fun. You made us laugh and you surprised the whole performance. His co-panelists, Ken jeong, Robin thicke and Jenny mccarthy, agreed he was one of the most entertaining contestants to watch this season. “Twerking Grandpa!” Jenny screamed after seeing him shake his booty on stage following comments from the judges. At one point, the guest host Niecy nash told the old monster to “simmer over there” after trying to cool off with her, but it was all for fun.
