Nana Ogyedum Tsetsewa I, Mankrado Gomoa Oguan, attributed the lack of submission in marriages due to the increase in divorce cases in society.
In an interview with the Ghanaian news agency in Tema on the divorce rate, Nana Tsetsewa said that more often than not, young couples seek solutions to their marital problems on social media.
She said these social media marriage counselors did not appreciate the issues, “unfortunately these self-acclaimed social media marriage counselors are feminists, divorcees, lesbians and inexperienced people.”
Gomoa Oguan Mankrado also noted that parents do not prepare their children for marriage; in today’s world, most families have left the education of children in the care of their teachers.
She instructed parents to take responsibility for the education of the children which is not only formal but informal through traditional family norms.
Nana Tsetsewa claimed that the workload of young couples deprived them of spending quality time with their partners, “most of them are now cheating in the workplace, and some are partying with their single friends as well. and their lovers, creating confusion in marriages ”.
She therefore called on society and the family to take charge of the traditional education of children.
