LeBron James immediately grabbed his right ankle after colliding with the Hawks player.

LeBron James will not return to the game after sustaining a right ankle injury in the second quarter as the Lakers played host to the Hawks on Saturday.

LeBron got his right leg rolled by Atlanta’s Solomon Hill and immediately grabbed his right ankle zone with 10:50 a.m. left in the second quarter. James re-laced his sneaker during the ensuing timeout and stayed in the game, even knocking down a corner 3-pointer. However, after the next defensive possession, James called for a time out and walked to the locker room, knocking over a chair in frustration.

At the time, James had 10 points as the Lakers followed the Hawks 32-30. Atlanta is on a seven-game winning streak, while the Lakers won the game with four straight wins.
