The youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the central region welcomed the expulsion of the party’s former central regional president.

A statement released by the party’s youth wing in the region said Allotey Jacobs was a nuisance to the party, hence his dismissal is in the best interests of the party.

“We are writing on our behalf as the young leaders of the NDC in the central region and on behalf of all the teeming youth of the party in the region to express our sincere gratitude to the members of the NDC Executive Committee for firing Mr. Allotey. Jacobs to celebrate it. ”

The statement continued: “It should be noted that the expulsion of Mr. Allotey Jacobs serves as an image cleanup effort for the NDC fraternity in the central region since his continued stay in the party was a gash and an indelible stain. on the image and reputation of all party members in the Region, in particular the younger generation.

He added: “We solemnly affirm our unwavering commitment to the cause of the party, now that the ‘black sheep’ has been driven from our home and our territory purged of an insatiable saboteur.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) expelled its former central regional president, Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs from the party.

According to the party, he brought an action against Mr. Allotey Jacobs for misconduct and anti-party behavior.

The party revealed that its discipline committee made the recommendation and was passed by the functional executive committee unanimously.

“At our meeting on Wednesday March 17, 2021, the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC reviewed the report and recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee on the matter or misconduct and anti-party behavior of which you are the object, Mr. Allotey Jacobs in accordance with Article 48 (I) (b) and 8 (b) of the NDC Constitution. ”

“The Committee’s report, attached to your attention, found you guilty of allegations of misconduct, anti-party behavior and recommended, among other things, your immediate expulsion from the party. The functional Executive Committee acting in accordance with Article 48 (1) of the NDC Constitution unanimously adopted the report and fully accepts its recommendation for expulsion from the party. ”
