The Ambassador of Ghana, HE Ernest Barte Asare-Asiedu greeted His Lordship Jefferson T. Koijee, Mayor of the City of Monrovia.
On Friday March 26, 2021, Ambassador Asare-Asiedu, during a courtesy visit to the Mayor’s Office of Monrovia Town Hall, expressed a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation to Hon. Jefferson T. Koijee for his tireless efforts in improving the development process with his young leadership in transforming the city of Monrovia.
Ambassador Asare-Asiedu said he was impressed with the level of work done so far by Mayor Koijee for the city of Monrovia, and also prayed that God would continue to strengthen him to do more for his country.
“Allow me to take this unique moment to fully appreciate you and your honorable office,” he said.
In a courageous interaction with Ambassador Asare-Asiedu, the mayor presented the achievements of the city government in three years, stressing that he will continue to do more in his tireless efforts before evacuating the town hall from Monrovia as Town’s mayor.
Although the city government of Monrovia is making progress in its development initiatives, Mayor Koijee told Ambassador Asare-Asiedu that his visit to Monrovia City Hall was consequential, thanking him for recognizing his efforts as young leader and mayor of the country’s oldest capital.
He assured Ambassador Asare-Asiedu that he would continue to do for the people of Monrovia what he was appointed to do, as genuine trust and explicit trust was placed in him by the country’s chief executive. , HE Mr. George Manneh Weah.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Ernest Barte Asare-Asiedu will leave Liberia on Saturday March 27 after serving as Ambassador to the Republic of Ghana for the past three years, three months.
