Days after emerging as a Grammy-winning artist, Nigerian singer Burna Boy is back to pay tribute to a place where it all began for him.
The singer recently arrived in Port Harcourt for a homecoming event to celebrate his milestone and he was only given a royal welcome.
A video spotted on social media captured the moment Burna Boy and his mother, Bose Ogulu, posed with Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike for a group photo.

Fans across the state have also gathered to show their support for the so-called African Giant. He was seen in his procession greeting supporters who kept chanting his praises.

The singer is expected to host a concert much later today with supporting performances from colleagues like Duncan Mighty, Omah Lay, among others.
A few days ago, YEN.COM.GH reported that Burna Boy enjoyed his team members after winning a Grammy. The singer in his appreciation message noted that women run the world and therefore make up a bigger part of his team.
