We must pray for peace but be ready for the war on

Most honest people hate violence in any form, but no one has a monopoly on violence. This is why we must pray for peace in Nigeria no matter who you are or where you are. War has never been the best answer and it may not be the answer to Nigeria’s problems.

The country has not even recovered from the last civil war that produced Nigeria’s most incompetent rulers in history. Children still suffer from the vestiges of this war.

People of goodwill who prefer peace at all costs don’t realize that the only power that brings bullies to the negotiating table is the immediate and immediate threat of equal and opposing forces before giving up anything. Indeed, those who have lost their lives and their property have already done so in a war. Only impunity would blind those who could not defeat the Niger Delta militia or Boko Haram by making them believe that it is about the administrative action of 1967. It is madness that the soldiers obey the command. peul to destroy their own land and their people today. No government has a monopoly on the weapons that a group can obtain on the global free market. Indeed, every part of Nigeria knows that the Fulani and their budding Hausa slaves are the aggressors who must be tied up to expel them; if Nigeria wants to remain a loose federation or simply divided into nations. The old type of unity and belief in remaining Nigerians has deteriorated.

If you can’t stand up for your children, your women, your land, your businesses, or yourself, there’s nothing left. There is the war against the Nigerians by the Fulani marauders who have already captured most of the Hausa. Negotiating from a position of strength is the story of Nigeria. It is well understood by the militias of Boko Haram, the Niger Delta Force, MASSOP to the OPC. Why then would anyone in their right mind ask a region trying to push back Fulani Uncle Macoute led by Al Buhari in the footsteps of Usman Dan Fodio to surrender to a superfluous peace without force?

You get what you bargain for, not what you deserve. You have to negotiate with the oppressors from a position of strength. The oppressed were freed after the costs of many revolts for privileged lives and the properties became unbearable for the owners, not just out of goodwill. The privilege is not easily given up, it is constantly fought with blood and sweat until it is taken.

It is not sincere to tell people who are going through war that they would lose what has already been lost; blame the victims. They are not your sacrificial lambs to appease your masters. If anything, people must be prepared to resist aggression from outside to defend their own land. Those who preach caution must demonstrate that they are successful in containing the aggressors instead of encouraging them in exchange for a pittance. There is no difference between unarmoured peacemakers and traitors. You don’t disengage well-armed Fulani with empty peace or goodwill.

There is a war going on in Nigeria and it could get worse as these leaders were not victims of lives and property lost by Fulani bandits. Senators are outrageously paid to live all over the world with their families. As they and their families are not full time residents in Nigeria, they cannot feel the pinch of death from dying men. Many of them cannot enter their homes in their constituencies alone without being stoned.

Those who live in the center-north have mourned for years against the atrocities of the Fulani on their land where farms are destroyed, farmers maimed and women raped. The governors who are supposed to be the chief of security in the states are ignored by the police and the army when their people call for help against the Fulani herdsmen / bandits. The impunity of the Fulani shepherds has spread deeper into the south where the police arrest the victims and let the bandits go!

People are being killed and maimed inside and outside their homes in their part of the country by bandits who benefit from the cooperation of soldiers and police. It is true that people will never be united against aggression. But spies, traitors and internal division have never prevented determined people from defending themselves on their own land against infiltrators. Indeed, the infiltrators actually united patriotic and courageous people against internal and external threats.

Although Nigeria almost escaped abject poverty in the hands of a good management who pursued a war without borrowing a penny: impunity, selfishness and reckless politics are only lasting for a short time. The rulers who never worked hard for money spent the country’s income like drunken sailors. Sooner or later, a false sense of grandeur which money can buy common sense collapsed. The incomes of exporters of natural raw materials and consumers of finished products manufactured beyond their reach would collapse and have collapsed.

Worse yet, those who knocked the ship to the ground since they were in their thirties are still firmly in charge in the eighties. There is enough blame to go around but the impunity that killed the first civilian rulers has gone to impunity to capture all of Nigeria like Usman Dan Fodio captured the Hausa. This is the reason why the northern border has been opened to Fulani everywhere, including Asma boys and Janjaweed from Arab countries: they will not leave.

Don’t overlook Gorilla (war): fight and run to live and fight another day. Before the floods or earthquakes, some animals would have taken refuge. It is therefore unwise to create an atmosphere of calm and serenity while the invaders of your land are at your throat. Those who fled their homeland for a dear life may have run and banded together to fight another day, never giving up. The Fulani don’t care about the Constitution or the good faith and fair relationships involved in every relationship. The common law involved an obligation that obliges the parties to a relationship to exercise good faith and honest judgment in carrying out their rights and obligations, and not to act in an arbitrary or capricious manner or with improper motive. If humans were so honest with each other, there would be no need for courts, elders, or community deliberations to right the injustice.
