And now, like Alejandro Aranda and a few others before him, Philip Murphy could be a American Idol alum to find success without winning the actual competition. There is currently only one offer on the table for him to write a song for Central park, and obviously things could fail. If he succeeds, however, and the song is well received, it’s unclear what doors might open for this young man in the future.
