On December 5, 2019, at Burma Camp, the President presented 33 armored personnel carriers, 41 assorted Toyota vehicles, three water tankers, a self-loading recovery truck, a refrigerated van and five utility vehicles for the disposal and management of waste.

He commended the Armed Forces for their continued engagement in the ongoing operations CONQUERED FIST and MOTHERLAND, which aim to create a secure and peaceful atmosphere on the northwest, north and northeast borders of the country.
President Akufo-Addo urged the armed forces to continue to work with the Ministries of National Security, Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs and the Ghana Revenue Authority, as well as all relevant ministries and agencies, to achieve ensure that the country maintains a robust provision that will deter potential aggressors, who could attempt to derail the political and socio-economic gains noted so far.
