COVID-19: ‘You will kill me first before I take the vaccine’ – Pastor Giwa

Senior pastor of the ministry awaiting the Second Coming of Christ, Adewale Giwa says he must first be killed before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Frankish clerk said those who need the vaccines can go ahead and take them, but insisted that he, his church members, families and loved ones would not be vaccinated.

“As for me, you would kill me rather than let me be vaccinated,” he said in a statement to DAILY POST on Monday.

According to Giwa, any pastor who encourages Christians to get vaccinated against COVID-19 is nearsighted.

“There is a difference between a religious leader and a spiritual leader. You can have a master’s degree in divinity and also be a leader in the church without being led by the Holy Spirit, ”he added.

“Anyone who is biblically sound can also wake up today to become a religious leader recognized by a religious body or by the government.

“However, spiritual leadership has three main components: vision, hope, and faith. A spiritual leader governs, guides and inspires others.

“To me, those who ask their members to take Covid-19 vaccines are short-sighted religious leaders who are not led by the Holy Spirit.

“Jesus Christ himself said in the book of Matthew 7:22 that many would say that they had cast out demons in his name or prophesied, but that He (the Lord) would say, ‘Depart from me, bad guys.’

“Let me tell you that not all who claim to work for God will enter the kingdom of God, unless those who do the will of God, according to Matthew 7:21.

“Our God is omnipotent, omniscient; He is the Alpha and the Omega. You have no more power than your creator. How can you neglect God for a vaccine?

“After being vaccinated, you still have to follow all the disease rules and stuff. Let me repeat that Nigeria needs Jesus Christ, not a vaccine.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. If you’re led by the Holy Ghost, you won’t put your faith in a vaccine. It’s a shame to see any religious leader promoting the product as scientists.

“As for me, you would kill me rather than let me be vaccinated. Those in need can take it, but I, the members, families and loved ones, Jesus Christ is our strength.

“I will maintain my position by doing what is right by God until Jesus Christ comes. No one can discourage me or scare me. We must seek the truth and hold on to it.
