The news, when we got it in the midst of the pandemic, came as a total surprise, not only to me and the rest of the cast, but to everyone involved in the show since production. Scott Gimple and Angela Kang had no idea either. It came out of nowhere and there was such a huge pivot. I think they had all mapped out Season 11, where they were going to go, and all of a sudden it was like, ‘We have to close the story as well, in a way. It took everyone by surprise, so it was a massive pivot. And then they kicked off the six episodes nailed to Season 10, and instead of doing 16, we’re going to do 24 more. There was a lot to understand.
