Social media rallies support for woman diagnosed with multiple sclerosis

Social media users have launched a campaign to support the treatment of 29-year-old woman Ewurama Asare Takyi Danquah Apraku.

The Cape Coast woman was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2011.

His condition only worsened over the years, causing restricted movement of the lips, limbs and arms, coupled with weakness and severe joint pain.

Several Ghanaians have joined the call for funds to raise $ 50,000 needed for his surgery, medical bills and other therapies.

A GoFundMe account and mobile money number have been created to collect contributions from supporters.
