Tesla Inc. delivered 201,250 vehicles in the second quarter, more than double the 90,891 vehicles it placed with customers a year ago, the Palo Alto, Calif.-Based electric vehicle maker said on Friday. .
It produced 206,421 vehicles in the three months ended in June.
Deliveries included 1,890 Model S or Model X vehicles and 199,360 Model 3 or Model Y vehicles. Production included 2,340 Model S or Model X vehicles and 204,081 Model 3 or Model Y vehicles.
Overall, 7% of vehicles were subject to rental accounting.
