Ghanaian musician Wisa Gried of “Ekiki me” fame advised audiences to refrain from giving relevance to social commentator, Twene Jonas.

According to him, “only stupid people like what he does.”

Wisa Gried said this in an interview with Pulse Ghana, monitored by GhanaWeb.

US-based Jonas rose to prominence following videos of him attacking the country’s government and leaders for their misconduct.

He thinks that the “system does not work” in Ghana compared to the better living conditions abroad.

The country’s celebrities have not been outdone as Shatta Wale, Tracey Boakye, Afia Schwarzenegger have been called out in various circumstances by the social media sensation.

In one of his rants, Jonas shot Wisa Gried, prompting the latter to respond.

Wisa explained that: “I realized that people were tagging me under his post, when I saw him I realized he was talking about nonfa. He’s not right… the thing upset me. to some extent but I just knew he was talking about nonfa. So I just forget about him but I don’t know him. He was talking about the Akuapem Poloo case and he mentioned my name in the video.

“He lives freely, everything he said about others, nobody stopped him. If he was supposed to be in Ghana, someone will catch him and hit him because it’s disrespectful. Even if you have things to say about people, you need to be careful with your words and your language. He disrespects people, but everything he says doesn’t make sense.

According to Jonah’s followers, he is telling the truth that no one dares to speak about.

He has, however, been convicted on several occasions for insulting prominent figures in the country.

“If a fool speaks, you shouldn’t follow him. The person is not right, all they say is all nonfa. He is one of those people on social media who fools for trends and views. We have passed that level, it shouldn’t get any attention but in Ghana everyone wants to be entertained because a lot of people are stressed. That’s not to say what he says is true, I will say that 99% of the people who enjoy his videos are just entertaining themselves. He tries to be funny, he tries to make people laugh. So if you too want to follow what he says, then you too are nonfa, ”said Wisa.

He added: “My advice to him is simple, he must respect himself because I see that he does not respect the elders. He does not respect the people he talks about. He must respect himself, so I will also respect him and I will listen to the advice he gives…. It’s only stupid people who like what he does.
