As you march against insecurity, lawlessness and impunity under Akufo-Addo / Bawumia government, strictly observe covid-19 – NDC to Youth Wing

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has tasked its youth wing to ensure strict compliance with all Covid-19 protocols of all people participating in the “March for Justice” demonstration on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

The youth wing of the main opposition party is expected to lead a massive demonstration tomorrow to call on the government to wake up and fight the growing levels of insecurity and lawlessness in the country.

Ahead of the protest which is expected to draw thousands of people, especially young people, the NDC tasked protest organizers to ensure compliance with all Covid-19 protocols.

“As we march for justice tomorrow, to protest against the increasing levels of insecurity, lawlessness and impunity under the Akufo-Addo / Bawumia government, it is important that we strive to observe all COVID-19 security protocols necessary in the interests of the health of protesters and the nation as a whole, ”part of the letter signed by party secretary general Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said.

According to the NDC, compliance with Covid-19 protocols has become very necessary, especially due to the emergence of the deadly Delta variant of the new coronavirus in the country.

As we march for justice tomorrow, to protest against the increasing levels of insecurity, lawlessness and impunity under the Akufo-Addo / Bawumia government, it is important that we strive to adhere to all protocols of COVID-19 safety necessary in the interests of health. protesters and the nation as a whole.

This has become even more imperative, given the emergence of the deadly Delta variant of the new coronavirus in the country.

I therefore wish to urge the organizers of tomorrow’s demonstration to ensure strict compliance by all demonstrators with the following precautionary instructions:

1. All demonstrators should endeavor to wear a face mask throughout the march. That is, from the point of convergence to the end point.

2. The social distance at arm’s length between the rows of protesters should be maintained at all

times throughout walking and physical contact avoided as much as possible.

3. Protesters should endeavor to use hand sanitizers periodically during the march.

4. Protesters must wash their hands at the end of March before dispersing.
