After Kofi Kingston challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship in Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Lashley made a big statement by beating Kingston New Day teammate Xavier Woods in Hell in a Cell. After a post-match beating by Lashley, Woods and Kingston seek revenge.
Woods will have a chance for revenge – and a chance to soften Lashley for Kingston’s challenge – when he once again takes on Lashley one-on-one in Monday’s edition of WWE Raw. New Day gained momentum in the rivalry after securing a victory over Lashley and MVP in a tag team match last week. Another victory would certainly start to sow doubt in the mind of the WWE Champion.
