The Rocher is ready to roll. Dwayne Johnson tweeted that his long-awaited new movie Black adam wrapped.
“It’s a wrap on BLACK ADAM Amazing trip. The most difficult undertaking of my entire career physically and mentally. Worth every second. Unlimited gratitude to my more than 1,000 crew members, actors and director, Jaume Collet-Serra. The hierarchy of power in DC Universe is changing.
the Black adam the story is complicated. Thousands of years before Billy Batson became Captain Marvel, the wizard Shazam selected another for the role. Teth-Adam, aka “Mighty Adam”, was a hero in the beginning. But then absolute power is absolutely corrupted. He became Black Adam and was exiled by Shazam.
Now back on earth and in our day he has seen the error of his ways, and he’s trying to clear his name.
Black adam also stars Aldis Hodge in Hawkman, Noah Centineo in Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell in Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan in Dr. Fate.
The current schedule has Black adam in theaters on July 29, 2022.
Jaume Collet-Serra, who also directed Johnson alongside Emily Blunt in Disney’s Jungle cruise, will lead. Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions produce Black adam with Beau Flynn from FlynnPictureCo. FlynnPictureCo’s Scott Sheldon will serve as the EP.
Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani wrote the last draft. Adam Sztykiel wrote the previous draft.
