The eleventh season of the popular stunt television series Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, or simply Khatron Ke Khiladi, started on Saturday night with a big first. Hosted by Rohit Shetty, the show was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. 13 stars will compete for the first prize and become the ultimate daredevil.
Shweta Tiwari, Divyanka Tripathi, Abhinav Shukla, Rahul Vaidya, Nikki Tamboli, Aastha Gill, Arjun Bijlani, Varun Sood, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Vishal Aditya Singh, Anushka Sen, Mahekk Chahal and Sana Makbul are the nominees this year.

A video message from Palak Tiwari, daughter of famous TV star Shweta Tiwari, was shared in the first episode. Palak revealed that his mother was afraid of all kinds of things, including darkness and lizards. “All of his fears made our lives difficult. We sleep with all the lights on, ”she said. To help her overcome her fears, Rohit Shetty had Shweta a green iguana kiss.
Divyanka Tripathi sings a lullaby to a crocodile
Another highlight of the episode was Divyanka Tripathi flaunting her courage. She was a candidate who managed to impress Rohit Shetty. She not only picked up a young crocodile, but also cradled him on her knees and sang a lullaby to him as Shweta Tiwari watched in horror. Rohit complimented her saying he saw a runner-up in her.
Rohit Shetty intimidated contestants by keeping a tiger by his side
The host, known for his death-defying stunt action thrillers, had a young tiger by his side when he entered. Cheetahs also featured prominently in the episode and tasks.
Race against cheetahs in the first task
The competitors had an unenviable first task. They had to race against the fastest land animal. Competitors had to retrieve a flag from a cage, cross hurdles while facing three cheetahs. Although no competitor can beat the felines (obviously), Abhinav Shukla took the least amount of time and was declared the winner.

The newlywed singer Rahul Vaidya spectacularly failed the second task in which he was supposed to walk on a platform placed at a considerable height, jump over obstacles and hit a buzzer. However, Rahul was unable to complete the task and fell off the ramp and remained suspended in the air, hanging from a harness.
