A man who identified himself as a former pastor of Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners Chapel, claimed that he and other pastors were fired by the church for not generating enough money. ‘money in their respective branches.
Peter Godwin said in a video that he was employed as a pastor on August 28, 2020, but on July 1, 2021, he and more than 40 other pastors were invited and received dismissal letters.
He said in the video: “In fact, by the special grace of God our father in this great assembly, Living Faith Church has been commissioned from the Lord to plant 10,000 churches in Nigeria and by the special grace of God, I had the privilege of being one of the pastors who were employed on August 28, 2020, which was last year.
“So after that I started to work, engaging in the Lord’s work. I did my best to make sure I won souls for Christ but unfortunately on July 1 I had got a call that the state pastor wants to see me, so I thought I was the only one. I was surprised, so I went to his office.
