With cases on the rise, he said it is safe to conclude that many Ghanaians have let their guard down in terms of adhering to security protocols and “we are starting to live our lives and conduct our business as if we are in. normal conditions, times, ”he added.

He reiterated the fact that the virus is always with us and that “until each of us receives a double dose of the vaccine, the protocols must continue to be an integral part of our daily activities”.

“The Ministry of Health is working hard to ensure that even in the midst of a global vaccine shortage, the goal we have set for ourselves to vaccinate part of Ghana’s other population is- ie some 28 million Ghanaians, is undertaken. “

He stressed that until this goal is achieved, he will continue to rely on the support and society of the people of Ghana to ensure our collective security against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
