Ghana’s High Commissioner to UK Papa Owusu-Ankomah urged Ghanaian artists to become the country’s tourism ambassadors.

The diplomat requested that the artistic staff promote Ghana through their works and performances.

Addressing the organizers and musicians of this year’s “Ghana Party In the Park”, Papa Owusu-Ankomah reiterated the President’s commitment to ensure that Ghanaians in the diaspora are part of the country’s development agenda. .

“Identity is the key and I say when you come to UK we can say it is now the seventeenth region in Ghana because we have so many Ghanaians or British citizens of origin or d of Ghanaian origin who live here. “

“This should be one of our country’s strengths in terms of our development agenda. The diplomat also praised the event’s organizers for the initiative, saying it will allow Ghanaians in the UK to connect with Ghanaian culture.

I know that many young people, especially second and third generation Ghanaians, will feel connected to Ghana.
