Coronavirus vaccine: can vaccine anxiety affect the side effects you experience? Here’s what the studies found

[ad_1]

At present, there is no correct classification of post-vaccination side effects that could be reactogenic and those that could be related to anxiety.

However, that being said, since the increased stress levels fuel an internal physiological response that leads to a number of vasovagal reactions, some of the symptoms reported could be considered a cause of anxiety, and not directly from the vaccine. According to the case studies, some side effects such as palpitations, elevated heart rate, nausea, fatigue, neurological symptoms such as tremors, weakness, dizziness or loss of consciousness could be related to the anxiety and extreme nervousness around vaccination. Keep in mind that these reactions can also be fueled by underlying conditions.

In comparison, the most common and widespread side effects resulting from administration of the vaccine are inflammatory in nature, such as mild fever, muscle pain, pain at the injection site, chills, and weakness ( flu-like reactions).
