According to Batra, “artificially sweetened drinks interfere with weight regulation mechanisms, disrupt the balance of gut bacteria and impair blood sugar regulation.” While a cool glass of aam panna helps reduce electrolyte deficiency and prevent heatstroke. You can prepare the aam panna with simple ingredients at home.

2. Lauki hazelnut kheer on kheer

The nutritionist adds that lauki, when combined with milk, provides protein, making it a low glycemic index food for diabetics. Add a few nuts on top and dig in!
